The “Culture in the Street” project, co-organized by Taipei Municipal Social Education Hall, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei Chinese Orchestra and Taipei Symphony Orchestra, has actively brought fine arts to daily living spaces since 2001. Taipei Symphony Orchestra brought classical and jazz music to the community parks, plazas, activity centers, open spaces in institutions, and even sidewalks with small configuration ensemble. It can be said that, where there are people, there would be Taipei Symphony Orchestra’s music. The “Culture in the Street” series is held 36 times a year, and is presented in a way that the audience can enjoy the performance casually. It is indeed an authentic and carefree classical music experience for the citizens of Taipei.
