With the orchestra playing a more complex role in this ever-changing multi-cultural city, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, an orchestra that has been established for 50 years, founded TSO Youth in October 2016. In order to create more diversities and to suit the needs of modern musical markets, TSO Youth combined members from TSO Wind Orchestra and TSO Youth Chamber, along with some excellent young musicians in Taiwan to perform classic, pops, jazz, movie, and traditional music. It’s an orchestra that strives to enrich Taipei citizens’ cultural experience with.
